Upon recently completing a project with the Cape Girardeau Public School District, they asked us to partner with them to provide the high school with a new PEMB Athletic facility at their athletic complex on the high school campus. The new facility houses multiple sports program locker rooms, staff offices, treatment room, large storage areas, and a field house for indoor practice and training.
The field house portion contains turf for the full width of a football field to provide a multi-sport flexible space with a divider curtain, retractable baseball batting/pitching cages, and retractable soccer/football nets. The building has access in and out through typical man doors, but also several large overheard doors for easy movement of athletes and equipment. The building is constructed as a long span, low slope facility with room for future expansion. The roughly 44,000 sf facility was constructed in two phases. The district and the community were thrilled to access new athletic complex in July 2024 ready for students to utilize at the start of the school year.
