HENRY COUNTY R-I SCHOOL DISTRICT | LONG RANGE FACILITY PLAN

Location: Henry County R-I School District

iDS was hired in 2019 to complete a long range facility plan for the Henry County School District. The goal was to listen to community needs, identify immediate and future improvements to facilities, create a multi-phase improvement plan, incorporate recommendations and changes in enrollment. After community workshops, executive committee meetings, and community town hall meetings, iDS developed a plan for district improvement projects.

Following the establishment of a long range plan, the scope of work includes:

• Safety and security upgrades

• Fire alarm improvements

• Playground and parking improvements

• Concessions, restrooms, and locker rooms

• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing improvements

• Roof repairs
