incite Design Studio Announces Two New Principals

Education-Focused Architecture Firm Expands Ownership Team

Kansas City-based architectural design firm incite Design Studio (iDS) announced Aaron Harte, NCARB, ALEP, and Patrick Smith, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, have both been promoted to Principal. Aaron and Patrick have been with iDS since 2013 serving clients throughout Kansas and Missouri.

Aaron Harte, serving as the Director of Educational Planning, supports all three iDS offices and leads the firm’s Educational Planning and Long Range Facility Planning efforts. Aaron's primary focus is to assist school districts with crafting comprehensive facility improvement plans by engaging each community in a way that invites them to be involved in the planning process thus creating ownership for every project.

Patrick Smith serves as the Studio Director & Client Leader in the Kansas City office. From a macro to micro approach, he works diligently to find a complete solution that satisfies the client’s overall goals. Patrick is passionate about a team-based design approach, collaborating with the district, teachers, parents and students throughout the lifecycle of a project.

Aaron and Patrick join two existing members of the iDS ownership team: Brian Foxworthy, President & Founder; and Jaci Foxworthy, Vice President. “These additions to our principal team showcase the extensive growth of iDS in recent years,” said Brian Foxworthy. “I’m excited for what Aaron and Patrick will accomplish in their new roles and I know they are ready to engage as the next generation of leaders for the firm.”
