NORTH KANSAS CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT | LONG RANGE FACILITY PLAN

Location: NORTH KANSAS CITY School District

iDS was hired in November of 2018 to complete a Long range facility plan for the district. iDS provided a valuable fact-based planning tool for future facility-related decision making that will be consistent with and supportive of the academic mission. The plan sets a logical course for capital improvements and facility management initiatives over the next 10-15 years. Prior to the Long Range Facility Plan , iDS was hired in 2017 as a Toolbox Architect for the District.

The Long Range Facility Plan will be comprised of up to five, no tax increase bond issues with the initial bond issue value at $135 million and subsequent bonds valuing approximate $100 million each. The projects identified will target needs at every educational facility in the district and will act as a roadmap for future administrators and board members to address their vast facility needs.
