After collaborating on a long-range facility plan and priority list, the Bonne Terre community passed Proposition S in 2020, a no-tax-increase bond to fund district projects. Improvements include safety and security enhancements, HVAC and roofing upgrades, ADA accessibility, performing arts center updates, inclusive play structures at elementary schools, high school track repairs, and other capital improvements.
iDS completed secured entrances at all schools, administration and bathroom renovations at the High School, administration renovations at the Intermediate and Middle Schools, and acoustical upgrades at the Primary School, Parkside Elementary, Intermediate School, Middle School, and High School. Additionally, they upgraded kitchen equipment throughout the district, repaired roofs at the Primary School, Middle School, High School, and Unitec, and made mechanical upgrades at Parkside Elementary, Intermediate School, Middle School, and High School. Electrical upgrades were made district-wide, playgrounds were replaced at the Primary School, Parkside Elementary, and Intermediate School, and ADA upgrades were carried out at Parkside Elementary, Intermediate School, and Middle School. The Middle School saw auditorium and sound system renovations and an elevator addition, while the High School received sound system and acoustical upgrades to its auditorium, along with a track base replacement.
